Flyball Competitions

Doggy Weekends – We are the ideal venue for a no frills dog friendly break for you and Fido/Fifi.  We can offer electric hook-ups (for a modest extra charge per night), use of the agility equipment (you can either hire the equipment and train yourself or pay for tuition with Eileen.  If you prefer a completely non agility break we are happy to leave you to your own devices . We are within half an hour drive of Clumber Park/Sherwood Forest and in addition there are many local walks within ten minutes of the site – all of which come highly recommended.

Comprising:

Flat, well drained and grassed competition area.

Area large enough for 4 KC sized rings – one of which is permanently laid out and is securely fenced.

Camping space for 36 units –  the area is rolled flat and is very well covered with decent grass –  none of your “traditional” venue clumps of grass that never gets cut on ground that has never been level.

Two full sets of equipment (made by Adams) also available.

Easily accessible – being within five minutes drive from Junction 1 M18.

Local Amenities (Chinese, Indian, Pizza, pubs, Co – Op, Spar etc) all within 10 minutes walk off site.

Flushing toilets – kept stocked with decent loo roll – none of your Portaloos here thank you.

Kitchen Facilities

Room for meetings/presentation area – no more fighting the great British summer to keep your rosettes dry – if you use the room (which oversees the ring area) as your HQ then nothing will get wet or blown away.  A sure bonus for those hard working scorers we all rely on at our shows.
